So you thought regular push-ups were boring? Welcome to the push-up that makes you feel like the second hand of a clock — except you're the one doing all the work and time definitely is NOT on your side. You start in a standard plank position, looking all innocent and normal, and then things get WEIRD.
You lower yourself down, but instead of just pushing back up like a sensible human being, you EXPLODE upward and launch yourself to the side like a grasshopper that just spotted a predator. We're talking a solid 12 to 18 inches of lateral airtime. You land, reposition, and then rotate about 30 degrees for your next rep, like you're slowly spinning around a dial of pain.
The goal is to work your way all the way around the compass until you end up back where you started — 12 o'clock, if you will. By the time you've covered every direction, your chest will be so pumped it could double as a bulletproof vest and your shoulders will feel like they've been through a blender set to "maximum suffering."
This move is an intermediate-level chest obliterator that also torches your shoulders, core, and that little voice inside your head that says "maybe we should just do regular push-ups." Ignore that voice. Be the clock. Own the clock. Become the clock.
